Math Through Stories Level 3 Saturday 11AM

$180.00 $180.00

Course Description
  • How can we make mathematics more exciting and relevant to our young learners? This summer course will use the power of storytelling as a creative approach to foster children’s love for the subject, to enhance their mathematical skills, and to translate abstract concepts into real life.
  • Each week, we will read an engaging math story together. The story will be full of characters, actions, and emotions. But at the heart of it is also a story about a new mathematical topic, from arithmetic to geometry to data. In addition, the lesson will mix in with practical activities, exercises, and discussion tasks to further develop students’ mathematical skills as well as literacy skills.
  • Math Through Stories Level 3 (MAT 303) is the third semester of our advanced level course in our preschool mathematics curriculum.
