We use MLP series Chinese books as our textbooks. The content of this course mainly consists of four parts: reviewing the knowledge learned in the previous lesson by flashcards; introducing new topics to inspire children’s ideas; learning children’s rhymes (our goal is to let children read it fluently and could recite it finally) and relevant vocabulary in daily life; and writing certain common Chinese characters.
Students will acquire Chinese language and culture through tasks, songs, rhymes and online games within the ACTFL (The American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages) framework.
